This is a syrphid fly, our second here at Toronto Wildlife. After quite a bit of searching I was able to nail the exact species (I think) as Tropidia Quadrata (click to enlarge). Our previous syrphid can be found here.
How much longer can the Mini-Marathon last? You'll have to stay tuned and see!
