Ask and Ye Shall Receive
Hey, just a couple of days after posting a shot of a Downy Woodpecker and saying Hairy Woodpeckers look almost exactly the same except for a longer bill what did I see on an early morning walk?
You can make the comparison and see for yourself that but for the longer bill on the Hairy Woodpecker they look pretty close. Obviously Nature reads this blog regularly and provided the bird above just so I could illustrate my point. And I'm flattered.
